Al Ghaf Tower

The Al Ghaf tree is the national tree of the UAE — an evergreen, flowering tree able to withstand the harsh desert environment, with small leaves that minimise water loss. A keystone species, it is critical to the survival of other species in the UAE's ecosystem.

On this basis, we took the Al Ghaf tree as the inspiration for an iconic tower that extends from the sand dunes at the podium up to the fluid forms of slabs representing the leaves of the Ghaf tree.
